The add-on
A 50ml amber glass bottle with a rose quartz rollerball, sold empty. Decant a little castor oil into it and you have a portable applicator for face, neck, elbows, knees and the rest of the body — roll it straight on, without pouring oil into your palms first.
It comes as a package: 500ml of castor oil with an empty roll-on bottle, or the 2 litre pack with an empty roll-on bottle. You fill the roller yourself from the oil.
What is rose quartz?
Rose quartz is the pink variety of quartz — silicon dioxide, the same mineral as clear quartz and amethyst. Its soft blush colour comes from microscopic mineral inclusions grown within the stone itself, not a surface coating. Rose quartz can fade with prolonged exposure to light. Each ball is cut and polished from natural stone, so no two are quite the same shade.
Natural quartz has a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, and it feels naturally cool against the skin. It's a small detail that makes every application feel a little more considered.
How to fill it
About thirty seconds, once you've done it once.
Pinch the sides of the roller top, then press one side with your thumb to pop the whole top off the bottle. It presses back on the same way.
Pour or pump castor oil straight into the open bottle, stopping short of the neck so the top seats cleanly.
Press the roller top back on, cap it, then roll a single pass over face, neck or body. Keep clear of the eye area.

Where people use it
The 50ml roller is sized for larger areas. For brows, use a drop on a spoolie instead.

No. The roll-on bottle arrives empty alongside a full 500ml bottle of castor oil, and you fill it yourself. That’s how one purchase gives you about ten refills instead of one.

The roll-on is sold with the oil. If you already have one of our 500ml bottles and want a spare roller, email us and we’ll let you know what we can do.
Pop the top off, wash the bottle and roller top in warm soapy water, rinse well and let everything dry completely before refilling. Quartz is non-porous, so it washes clean easily.
Keep the roller clear of the eye area. For anything around the eyes or lash line, speak with a healthcare professional first.
The bottle will hold any oil, but we can only speak for ours. If you blend castor oil with a lighter oil, the roller glides more easily.
Rose quartz is a natural stone, so every ball is a slightly different pink. The variation is in the crystal itself.
